In our practice a great “team leader” is a role model and leader to your fellow team members. Optical skills and a strong desire for excellence is required and day to day functions include: Be an inspirational leader to all team members Coordinate team member schedules Provide a broad range of optical services, although having an optical license is not required Oversee and coordinate daily patient flow and scheduling Work directly with the doctor coordinating, assessing and evaluating all team members Working with all team members in developing and creating individual performance goals Provide all levels of Patient Services including being our “Patient Services Team Leader” – we strive for “Patient Excellence”! Review and approve monthly statements from vendors Interact with vendors and reps Maintain a culture of excellence for the patients, the team and the doctor(s).
